Since 2003 I have been reinventing the artisanal savoir-faire of French Cartonnage in respect of the traditional techniques inherited from the master makers of the 18th Century.

CLASSES
All the coursework is on-demand, meaning you can take it at any time once you purchase the class. We will also have 3 group zoom sessions throughout the course. Ask questions, get tips, and work alongside with fellow enthusiasts in one of our workshop sessions. Come hang regardless of the stage you're at, we're just tackling them week by week to keep the group on pace and share tips.
We will also host a ‘Workshop Office Hours’ with LeighAnne and Amanda by RSVP - date to be announced.
You will get the Zoom login details when you join the course. All sessions are 1 hour and will be recorded and shared within the community for your reference at any time!

Elevate your needlepoint with the elegance of a NDLPT cartonnage box with frame. Tell me your canvas size, and I can craft a box so you can self-finish your canvas to add it to the frame, and if you want, replace it for another canvas.
Art Deco Canvas & Box
Inspired by the Art Deco stained glass windows of my own home, this hand-painted 3x6” 13 mesh canvas brings vintage geometry and soft color into your home.
Each design is available beautifully packaged with a light blue or khaki keepsake box with magnetic closure and NDLPT frame — perfect for gifting or treasuring. The box comes with a bag with interfacing and a tool so you can easily add the canvas to the frame of the box. If you want, I can foil-press your initials on the inside lid! You can also buy only the canvas with DMC matte cotton threads, or without threads.
Each canvas is hand-painted by me, and each box is crafted by me, so only a limited number are available — don’t wait if this one catches your eye! More Art Deco designs are on the way, inspired by the beautiful 1930s homes in my Dutch neighborhood.

I started HOUSE OF CARTONNAGE in 2003, driven by a desire to create, though it took me a while to discover the right path. My journey began when I attended a box-making workshop, learning the art of French Cartonnage.
I’m the creator behind the NDLPTframe© for a needlepoint canvas, and love to create finishing items for your NDLPT creations.
