Box Willow Borough

Designed to hold treasured words, memories, and moments, this NDLPT keepsake box is a timeless piece crafted with care and intention. The box is lined with elegant light blue and khaki book cloth, offering a calm, understated contrast that protects and frames its contents beautifully.

The exterior is wrapped in the iconic William Morris Willow Bough design, celebrating nature’s rhythm and classic craftsmanship. Finished with a soft bow closure and four gold-coloured feet, the box sits gracefully while adding a subtle touch of warmth and refinement.

Perfect for preserving certificates, letters, photographs, or personal mementos, this keepsake box is both practical and meaningful — a lasting home for what matters most.

The price of the box is $395 and comes in a branded bag with a piece of interfacing and a cartonnage card I designed with The Finishing School Blog. If you want, I can foil press your name, initials or year on the inside of the lid.

Interfacing Instructions for an Interchangeable Canvas

Cut the fusible interfacing at least 1.0” | 2,5 cm larger than your finished blocked needlepoint creation. The size of your canvas to put in the frame is 3.3x6.3” (3x6” visible canvas in frame). Lay the interlining with the coated side facing the reverse side of the fabric. Iron on dry for around 8 seconds. Press the iron down firmly over each section 5–6 times (iron setting: silk|wool). After fixing, lay the piece down flat to cool down for around 30 minutes to allow the bond to stabilize. Cut off the interfacing around the canvas and place it in the frame. Repeat these steps to as many needlepoint creations as you wish to insert into your frame. If you wish to only have one design with this box permanently, you can use a double-sided tape to secure your needlepoint creation inside the frame permanently.
